I. WON.

I can't believe it... I'm usually the most unlucky person ever when it comes to winning contests. But I finally did it. I won! And, I must say that I won it from my favorite blog ever, Tatertots and Jello. What did I win? Only the coolest necklace EVER! I won it from Mississippi Mud. Check out her etsy shop. I want one of everything she has. :)

I was wanting to wait until I actually got this in the mail before I posted about it ( I won something from another blog once, but I never received it... See, unlucky right? LOL). But I've been in contact with Sarah from Mississippi Mud enough to know she is awesome and I know I'll get it. LOL. She has been so helpful in helping me pick out what I'm getting. Not only did I win a Baby Momma necklace, but I also got a bracelet and ear rings!! I'm so excited about it!

I will post pics of it as soon as I get it. Then you guys can see how awesome it is. :) Since you are here reading my blog, go take a look at Tatertots and Jello and see what a great blog is all about. And visit Mississippi Mud on Etsy while you're at it!

Have you ever?

Have you ever mistakenly put nail polish remover on your cotton ball thinking it was facial toner?

Have you ever shaved your legs with the cap still on the razor?

Have you ever put preparation-H on your toothbrush?

No?

Me neither.

Not since I started putting my contacts FIRST thing in the morning and taking them out LAST thing at night!

Contemplating....

I love blog land for all the wonderful and talented crafters that I am able to access. There are so many talented people that just awe me with their works. I have been thinking and thinking (and thinking some more) about opening a shop selling some of the cute things I find on blogs and Etsy. I don't want to take the time to craft these beautiful things myself. And lets be real here, I don't have what it takes to make most crafts anyway lol. I would like to contact some of the sellers to see if they would like to sell a few pieces wholesale to me for my shop. I found flower pins, head bands, jewelry, handbags, and really really cute tee shirts. I could go on and on listing all the things I'd like to sell. And then the other day I found a website (via a blogger) that has the CA-UUUT-EST clothes ever. And I looked, and they sell wholesale. At really affordable prices. I can buy them and still sell them at an affordable price and turn a profit. Woot!

I live in a really small Podunk town. Now, I'm not talking bad about it, but the only places to shop around here for clothing are: Walmart, The Dollar Store, and Cato's. 3 stores people...3! And I don't like the clothes from 2 of them. : So this would give women around here the option to buy stylish clothing and accessories without having to drive 1.5 hours to the nearest mall. So I'm really giving this some serious thought. Wait, I said that already didn't I? :)

I am going to talk it over more in depth with my husband. Then start scouting around for some possible store fronts. Then....well, we'll see. If you pray, please say a prayer that I will get guidance from God on this endeavor. I can't remember when I was this excited about something. So I hope it works out.

Dear Britt.

Really Britney? Really? OMG! Are you serious with this hair? Why would anyone go out in public like this? Especially someone that can afford to get the best hairdressers in the country to come into their home and do their hair. Girl, you need to take a cue from that other blonde skank, Jessica Simpson, and get you a bff hairdresser. You would benefit greatly from it. Trust me honey. Do us all a favor and stay home if you can't do any better than this. K? The world would greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Mon

Beware!

Be Careful Out There:

IDIOT SIGHTING: We had to have the garage door repaired. The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener. I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower. He shook his head and said, 'Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower.' I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4. He said, 'NO, it's not.' Four is larger than two..' We haven't used Sears repair since.

IDIOT SIGHTING:
My daughter and I went through the McDonald's take-out window and I gave the clerk a $5 bill. Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a quarter. She said, 'you gave me too much money.' I said, 'Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar bill back.' She sighed and went to get the manager who asked me to repeat my request. I did so, and he handed me back the quarter, and said 'We're sorry but they could not do that kind of thing.' The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75 cents in change... Do not confuse the clerks at McD's.

IDIOT SIGHTING : I live in a semi rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road. The reason: 'Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore.' >From Kingman , KS .

IDIOT SIGHTING IN FOOD SERVICE : My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco. She asked the person behind the counter for 'minimal lettuce.' He said he was sorry, but they only had iceburg lettuce. From Kansas City

IDIOT SIGHTING: I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked, 'Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?' T o which I replied, 'If it was without my know ledge, how would I know?' He smiled knowingly and nodded, 'That's why we ask.' Happened in Birmingham , Ala.

IDIOT SIGHTING : The stoplight on the corner buzzes when it's safe to cross the street. I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for. I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red. Appalled, she responded, 'What on earth are blind people doing driving?!' She was a probation officer in Wichita , KS

IDIOT SIGHTING : At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker. She was leaving the company due to 'downsizing.' Our manager commented cheerfully, 'This is fun. We should do this more often.' Not another word was spoken. We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare. This was a lunch at Texas Instruments.

IDIOT SIGHTING : I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself and for the sake of her life, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on. A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriffs office, no less.

IDIOT SIGHTING
When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. 'Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'its open!' His reply, 'I know. I already got that side.'
This was at the Ford dealership in Canton, MS

STAY ALERT!
They walk among us... and the scary part is that they VOTE and they REPRODUCE
